Hi,

A friend, automateddarkroom.net , only has a 4x5 negative carrier. I like 5x7 and want more than just a contact print. Aside from doing it myself do you know of any options? Oh yeah, I'm talking black and white.

Thank you

Assuming you are talking about negatives, developing or printing? Either way you can look up Blue Moon in Portland, I have had color done there developed and printed. I think they work with 5X7.

Thank you, I called them Jake was awesome.

Another option is The Icon in Los Angeles. They do processing by mail, and certainly do LF better than I do. Bookmark 'em if you have an interest in slides (of all sizes); last I checked they were VERY committed to E6 processing.

Thank you very much.

build a lightbox/negative carrier for your 5x7 camera and lend it to your friend.

Thank you
Elwoods are very affordable and very capable machines worthy of a decent lens.
They are mostly wood but that makes them simple to fix or modify. How ever if the cast metal parts break, that can be irreparable.
They'll work even if the most fragile component----the glass diffuser is missing. They also work horizontal as well as vertical if youhave a low ceiling.
The downside is the cost of shipping----Elwoods are huge----and that it might require some fiddling with----Elwoods are old.

I have Elwood 8X10 enlarger complete. Lens, neg carrier ,enlarger bulbs Its in good shape and like to find good home. Located in st louis, mo. jerrysee@yahoo.com
