purchasing lighting system

I am in the process of purchasing a studio lighting system,my first, and I have narrowed it down to these two monolight systems Novatron ML 500-2 lights 500w/s and Paterson Stellar 1000- 2 lights 1000w/s. I was wondering if
anyone of you has had any experience- good or bad- with any of these two
systems. Any and all input will be apprecaited. Thanks

I've used a set of Novatrons for years. Not the particular units you are looking at, but I have had a great experience overall. Even though the less expensive of many studio kits, they have been workhorses and have traveled many thousands of miles to many shoots and are still cooking.
