Pulling slide film-less grain?

I've never "pulled" color slide film, but know that contrast is reduced. Is grain reduced as well, and if so, is the difference negligible or noticeable?

You would have to worry about what the color is going to do as well. No guarantee it's going to act consistently when you pull.
