Howdy,

Looking for some advice here. All I have at the moment is HP5 in the cupboard. Tomorrow I am going out to shoot some motor sport. It looks like its going to be a reasonably sunny day. Does HP5 pull OK? Would I be able to shoot at ISO200 without too many issues? Or will I have no contrast at all?

Any advice appreciated.

You can shoot HP5+ at 200 or even 100, as long as you develop it accordingly (about .85 of Normal for 200.) I have shot it recently in strong sunlight at 100 and it looked excellent.

At 200 you will still have strong shadows, and at 100 the shadows will be very light. The contrast overall will be very good if developed properly (test roll)—underdevelopment should be avoided with this film.

we use that film at 200 all the time along with the standard times with hc110 solution b we no issues
