Pulling HP5+

I just shot a roll of HP 5+ at ISO 200. At 68 degrees, I'm thinking a development time of 8 minutes in Ilfotec DD-X. Anyone have any other suggestions? Bill Barber

Many people shoot HP5 at 200EI that time should be fine.

An EI of 200 is well within the latitude of this film so develop it normally.

Agreed. Develop normally unless you had extremely high contrast lighting under which I'd personally pull times back 15-20%. Barry Thornton in his writings, if I remember correctly, discussed how he used to expose it at 250.

I've pulled HP5+ to ISO50 in some extreme contrast conditions with great success.

I've also pulled it down to 100 with pleasing results. It's a rather versatile film.
