So I accidentally overexposed some delta 100 by 2 stops - meant to use a filter and forget to actually put it on the lens.
By what percentage should I change the development? Is there a "best" developer for this? Developers on hand include Rodinal, Tmax, D-76, Rollei High Speed, and Rollei Low Speed.
Thanks everybody. Plan to spend a little time in the darkroom tomorrow with film exposed over the summer.

Hi Sly, have you checked Ilford's technical website for times and suggested developers? I just checked and the chart only goes up to a 1 stop push (200). You might try adding the same or a little more time than they suggest from going from 100 to 200 as a starting point, added to the 200 time of course. Your D76 would use the same times as ID-11 afaik.

He's over exposed not under-exposed so shot at 25 EI in effect.

Using D76 or Rodinal if you cut your normal dev times by about 25-30% you should het reasonable negatives, but you'll need to use a grade harder paper.

I would use a dev that has a rep for killing speed. Rodinal or perceptol/microdol, then reduce dev times. Don't use Tmax/Xtol/FX-39/DDX/Microphen etc as these maintain box speed or increase it. I am not experienced with Rodinal, but it would likely be my choice. Its straight light characteristics might help maintain some highlight contrast when pulling the film inevitably reduces contrast.

Thanks Tom and Ian, I developed in Rodinal for 25% less time. The negatives still look a little dense, but not unprintable. They are still wet, so I'll let you know once I can get back in the darkroom.

How about rodinal 1-100 for a hour or so in stand dev? It really tones down the highlights and brings out the shadows, making for a good, printable neg.
