I am looking into PSE 7, but Adobe's website does not give any useful information about it's contents. It seems to be marketed toward people that want to do gimmicky things with their snaps. My question is whether or not it has the channel mixer feature and is capable of mimicing basic BW darkroom techniques? I have a "borrowed" copy of CS2 with a key generator, but I'm a little old-fashioned and feel a little funny about installing it on my system. I'm hoping that PSE 7 will fit my needs. Thanks.

Good for you Jmal. I don't know what your digital editing needs maybe but PSE is a good way to get your toes wet. If you are shooting digital RAW then it does include the latest incarnation of ACR which is quite nice.

You can purchase a new legal copy of PSE 7 from Amazon.com for $59.99 after rebate and you can also download a free trial from Adobe.

Check here for the help file which covers the features of PSE 7
