prontor(polaroid) press shutter reassembly

hi

i unfortunately got the tip of a cable release jammed inside my shutter.
i removed the front plate ( unscrewed the little screw, then the big plate )
and i was able to remove the jammed tip.
i now have the speed ring off, and am trying to put it back on ...
it seems kind of tricky

anyone ever done this ?
it fires without the plate/ring - at 1 sec. ( i just had it cla'd )

thanks in advance for your help

john

it looks like i figured it out on my own ...
you place the dial carefully on 1/15s, and slowly poke
a shutter release in to cock the shutter ...
a little thingamabob, will seat itself in the correct
notchy-thing, and as long as the shutter is timed right
to begin with you can put the front plate back on and give
it a test ..

i ran it around the speeds 3 or 4 times just to make sure it kind of looked right.

i am by no means a trained technician so YMMV
