Point is....many retailers have been snubbing film...getting on the d%$#@#@
bandwagon, being a bit snobbish, non caring, all with the attitude that there is no longer a market in film. It is an incorrect assessment....recently at a large local hospital, physicians have started requesting to see the film and not just the d&^%$#.
Apug alone has a customer base that is worthy of courtship.
And you have to think that the 20,000 or so here is just the "tip of the iceberg". After all, look how quickly Kodak's recent Porta freebie offer blew through the original quota and, to their credit, led them to distribute a lot more rolls than originally planned.
And today I saw a tourist on the steps of St. Bart's on Park Avenue sporting a F-100 around his neck. Had to look twice - but that optional motor drive was a dead giveaway!
Maybe sporting a film camera no longer marks one as some kind of weird "neanderthal" anymore?

The point? 20k may over represents, the number of posting members under represents, and by any measure the strength of the site is very high.
