We wanted to let you know that we started Fundraising Print Sale from this month. We are selling my platinum/palladium prints for this occasion.
The proceeds will go towards to financing of further construction at the studio. This time, we are building a multi-purpose room which would serve as a lecture room, a class room, and a studio space. We hope to work on the lecture series from the next year by inviting people to give an interesting talk and show good work of photographers to the community in Philadelphia and its surrounding areas.
Project Basho are trying to create a place where people who are interested in the medium of photography can come to learn and practice as a means for self-expression. Project Basho offers a variety of photography experiences from darkroom rental and informal critique to introductory classes and advanced workshops like wet-plate and platinum/palladium printing.
