problem with pentax lens - meter isn't working?

Hi, Never mind, I have taken the camera to the lab and they said the problem was with the camera and not the lens. the man said it's possible to fix it, I hope it won't cost me more then the camera

(p.s. I tried to delete the thread, but I'm afraid it's not possible..if some admin could do it, I would be thankful!)

I'm having a problem with one of my lens. is a 28mm from Pentax and I'm using it on a pentax k1000.

Is quite and old lens since it was my dad's, but it was working nicely until a few days ago when the metering stopped working. I changed the lens and the metering of the camera was working so I believe there could be a problem with the lens.


Do you know if it's possible to repair it? I have a light meter, but I prefer to shot in the quickest way

If any of you have any advice it would be lovely!
