Hi,

I have a Minolta Flash Meter III that have not been used for 10 years. Yesterday I insert the batteries and want to use it but the screen keep blinking with ' F no, 0 ' after I pushed the measure button. What have went wrong? Is it due to the batteries are weak or some others issue?

Any Help appreciated!!

Thank You.

Make sure you have set the ASA and then that's it's set for an ambient reading as opposed to the flash setting - that little toggle switch.

Other than the flash setting, I don't know what would cause it. If all else fails try a new battery and after that I'd guess it's wacked.

One more thing, I have this meter and it only takes one battery. You mention batteries.

Stephen,

Paul indicated that this was a Flash Meter III not a IIIF.

Hi All,

Thank you for the helpful tips. I manage to locate the problem is due to bad batteries. My old batteries are six pieces of LR44. Is there a one piece battery that can take the place of the Six button batteries?

Thank Again. Your all are great!!
