problem with camera

I purchased a mamiya 645 body from KEH last month...and shot two rolls of (different types and MFG) film through it and both had vertical markings such as below: any ideas? (there are dust marks all over so ignore them) drew

Looks a bit like scratches on the base side of the film in the direction of the film travel. Were they 220 rolls? If it's 120 that won't fly so it may also be from the processing. Were the marks all in the same places? Same processor? If slide film it may be emulsion scratches so you should check the film back for nicks and scratches.

The lines on the right look like scratches, but the blotchiness in the middle on the bottom half of the frame look like a processing issue. Process a roll yourself on a reel, if you haven't already tried that, and see what you get.

The processing lab called back today stating that their equipment did indeed cause the problem...so thanks for the help.
