Greetings. On the last print showing I mentioned I was having a few problems with lack of contrast. I put this down to agitation at the developing stage as it coincided with starting to use the SP45 tank. But the negs looked fine, but the print said different. Went into the droom on Sunday and could hardly see anything on the base board. It seems that the bulb was on its way out and needed replacing. Dully done and prints are back to normal. Well as normal as I can get them.
Cheers
Diz

Sounds logical, as a failing bulb tends to go orangy and would act like it has a low contrast filter applied.

I live in a different universe where the filament breaks and the bulb stops working.
