Hi there, greetings from Holland.
Been shooting 35mm for a bit now, and just bought a medium format camera.
It’s a Yashica C model.

Got the magnifying glass out by pressing the logo button on top, can move it, and got it in sportsmode (panel with the button is down, the view hole panel is up.
The thing is to be able to close it again. The panel with logo stays down (have pressed the little silver button, so I can’t close the viewer.
Tried YouTube for a useful video, but I’m probably way better off here for a solution.

Thanks in advance

Usually with TLRs I think you get them out of sports finder mode by pushing the lid back towards you. This releases a catch so the center panel of the lid (part with logo) comes back up. If it doesn't come up right away, you might try encouraging it gently with a fingertip or small pointy instrument. You shouldn't have to pry anything.

I had the same problems a couple of times with my grandfather's Yashica A, which has the same type of finder. It could be that the little catch has been bent a little too much inwards so it needs some help to release the sportsfinder 'lid'.
