You don't come across these too often, unless you are shopping at the 99C store. Clearance aisle. Which coming to think of it is every aisle there.
Look, I can go on and on waxing orgasmic about the qualities of this standout piece of engineering. But what's the point? We all know what's up, and that a real pro photographer will most definitely be able to create absolutely the best something with this pink jewel.
It has a lens. It has a shutter button. It holds film. It even comes with a miniature version of itself in case you are in Iceland and want to gift the elves to bless your attempts at capturing the true majesty of Hvannadalshnjúkur.

What's it worth? More like what's it not worth. It's not worth the $10 that someone else thinks they can buy a Leica M with.
No, that would be rude.

$950. OBO. I am serious about OBO... All proceeds of this sale WILL GO TO PHOTRIO. Let your conscience guide you.

p.s. please don't choke on it. Pay attention to the labelling and safety instructions. Remember, you are a pro.

This must be the limited edition Barbie camera with the Zeiss Sonnar. I hear that it put the Contax T2 to shame!

But..but...but... it takes REAL 110 color photos.
As opposed to FAKE 110 color photos!

Is this the model with DOF Preview.?
I NEVER use it on the cameras i own, but i always make sure to ask anyway..................

DOF? Depth of Flowers? You can clearly see the four flowers on the front have depth to them.

I can see you are not talking this very seriously.

Yes, the days of Huss not taking things seriously have definitely come to a middle.

I'd TOTALLY rock this if it was 135 and I found it working and out of the package. As is it seems more a collector's item, if there is such a thing like there is for star wars dolls and such.

Serious question, can you even get 110 film these days?

1. I have taken it out of the package and shot a 'roll' of 110 through it. The results were...disappointing. The Kodak Fling single use 110 cameras that I am selling (pretty much giving away) that you actually can reload take waaaay better pics.
Those have a sweet spot at about 10-15 ft where stuff is sharp. Surprisingly so. But that's not what this Barbie is about. Unfortunately.
Anyway, I put it back into the package so no worries about ruining collectability. That happened when I mugged my niece for it.

B. d@mmit Moose - of course you can still get 110 film. You should visit the LoFi section sometime and see some threads there. Lomography is our friend - even tho I like to buy old Fuji Superia from KEH.

And iii. Patrick - do eeet, do eeeeeet. All proceeds to Photrio, shipping on me. I'll even throw in a Fling 110 camera (throw out the film that is in it cuz it is done/shot/finito/kaput/develops blank).

p.s. I have seen the 35mm version on ebay. But I have already been seduced once by the pink plastic temptress...

I have athe Barbie Polaroid here somewhere - but it's really just a decorated Polaroid, so a disappointment compared to this one.
I bought a Thomas the Tank Engine 110 camera for my oldest when he was very young. It played the theme song AND put a little Thomas in the corner of every picture.

I am very disappointed that no-one is dumb enough to want this camera. Now you have to remember, 'dumb' where I am from is a colloquialism, and perhaps does not mean what you think it means.
Or perhaps it does.

I challenge anyone to take a decent pic with this pink plastic pustule!

No one's taking it, because everyone is holding out for the 126 version.

But will it make me a pro photographer if I buy it? Because I've tried everything else. Bought a vest w/ lots of film pockets, joined a camera club, and learned how to pronounce Leica and Zeiss. Sorta.

I do like the strap on your camera for sure.
