Pro camera or point and shoot?

The pros and cons on SLR cameras outweigh those of the RF cameras, but the only thing that really matters is which one feels better in your hand and which one will you enjoy more?

Pentax MX/ME Super is approximately the same size. The MX is fully manual while the ME Super has manual and aperture priority mode. Both are manual focus and manual advance/rewind unless you add a motor.

This shows just how small a Pentax MX/ME Super is with a 40mm pancake lens compared to a point and shoot and other cameras.

I don't have the Contax but it may be similar in size to my Nikon 35Ti

The Olympus Epic provides excellent results, is fully automatic and pocketable. The Nikon 35Ti and Pentax MX+pancake lens are jacket pocket size but are much heavier then the the Epic.

Pentax prime lenses will not be the reason you get unsharp pictures.

I decided on getting a Nikon f4 and an Olympus mjuii/style epic. Both have different uses, as some of you mentioned ti. Thanks for advice

Great advice. I decided on doing that

Good choices, best of both worlds for probably cheaper than you could of got a Contax T2 alone. Enjoy !
