There is a small specialist BW lab in Dusseldorf run by Erika Vogel. I had some film processed by her three years ago when I was living nearby in Cologne and it was very well processed. She is quite near the main train station. Details at http://www.schwarzweiss-fotolabor.de/ However, if you are in Cologne, (some good photography galleries and a wonderful photography bookshop http://www.schaden.com/ ), I can certainly recommend Kontrast lab. http://www.kontrastlab.de/ Dieter is the chap to ask for.

Nicole, regarding Düsseldorf you might want to contact Ralph Lambrecht (www.darkroomagic.com); he lives not far from DDorf and might have some recommendations.

Are these photo labs recommended the best options for a good supply of B&W film?

If not, where are the best/biggest suppliers of pro film (B&W) in Paris and also in Duesseldorf?

Well, there is Foto Koch and Calumet in Düsseldorf. If you happen to go to Cologne, Foto Gregor at the Neumarkt. Best prices in Germany are usually at Nordfoto per mail order.
