printofine

Just bid on some Acufine film developer and a can of paper developer called Printofine on E-Bay. Usually try to snag the Acufine when I can, but am not familiar with Printofine, which is included in the bid. Anybody know anything about this stuff?

Fred Picker in his book on making photographs has a few examples with this developer. Here's what he saysusing a VC paper : "Bauman Printofine which delineates close values without increasing overall contrast" Good luck

does anyone know the formula to this developer? or have a vague idea about its constituents?

As a proprietary product the formula was never published. However it was a standard PQ print developer. Nothing special.
