Printint Blending Solution

I have part of a Rockland Printint kit which is missing the blending solution. I think the solution is just acetic acid- has anyone ever substituted vinegar for the blending solution? Are there other substitutes commonly available.

The answer is: vinegar seems to work fine, but those are some garish colors it makes.
