I have a bunch of negs from a trip to Siberia that I shot with my hasselblad but with a 2:1 ratio format mask. so the image size is essentially 6x3...any suggestions how to make a neg carrier for printing just the full frame 6x3 image. I really enjoyed the compositional challenge of shooting in this ratio...I'm starting to really dig it.

First option that occurs is to use a glass negative carrier and mask off the area you don't want. Alternately, use black tape to mask off an existing glassless carrier - two strips of black tape, sticky-side to sticky-side: one on each side of the carrier.
On my Durst L1200 the negative carrier has fully adjustable masks built in to the carrier - there may be a similar accessory for your enlarger.
If you like a "roughed up" look you can make one out of mat board. I made a neg carrier out of mat board to use with my holga. But, some people don't like the filed neg carrier look... in that case, Bob's idea sounds good. Or just use a 6x4.5 carrier and mask off on your easel. -Grant
You can always just put the frame in the regular 6x6 neg holder and just mask out what will be printed black with the easel or later with a mat if you don't like the black border.
