Printing on vellum

Hi - I have a client that wants to print images on vellum and then hand-color the results. I've tried the Canson 55lb Vidalon Vellum in my Epson 7900, but it smears badly and clips the edges with the print head. Is there any other similar media that might work? Thanks !
