I currently use an Epson 2200 for colour printing, and I had been planning to buy an Epson 1280 to convert to B+W using MIS inks. I've done a lot of checking around, and actually bought a used 1280 on Ebay, which turned out to be a dud. Fortunately, the seller refunded my $$
I've priced out new 1280's, but find that for an older generation printer, prices are still around $400 CDN with the Epson rebate. Now I'm toying with one of the new HP9180's. They list for $799CDN, but are obviously a much more technically advanced printer that can print Colour and B+W. Has anyone had a chance to use one of these yet?
