we use it at school. I don't keep it after using it for class, and so it will do at least 50. 11 oz to 44 oz of water. It would do more but with beginners i would rather also have fresh developer of a session.

A lot! I haven't found the limit. I have yet to wear out a tray of LPD in any print session.

I do tend to lose about 7-10ml of the LPD for each 8x10, this is just what seems to soak in and/or carry over to the stop bath.

I use a funnel with a screen and pour back all the leftovers to my "working solution" bottle at the end of a session.

When I prep for the next session (a week or month later) I "top up" the working solution bottle to a liter with fresh diluted LPD and then pour it into the tray or beaker for the JOBO.

From their data sheet:

"LPD offers great print capacity, i.e., a tray of 1/2 gallon of working solution will process a minimum of 360 - 8 x 10 single weight prints, when properly replenished. Uniform quality and tone is maintained throughout the useful life of the developer. No longer is it necessary to throw out good developer just because of few prints had been run in it. Simply replenish per the simple directions."
