There are hobby inks which applied with a brush on to your textile and when you iron it after dried , it would pop up like carbon. That came to my mind instantly. How can anyone use that advantage ?

ps. There are ten thousand of pu formulas out there and good quality comes 4 dollar per liter. There is transparent ones also. Polyurethane foams can be raw surfaced to metal sheen and flatness.

All the car interiors are covered with pu foam generatives. From the vitesse stick to textiles to dashboard.

I cant imagine a analog way now but inkjet and calibrating the flow to degree of pop up is looks promising.

What would be the color of ink or inks ? Semitransparent looks promising but I did not see a carbon print yet.

May be a heat iron or may be microwave oven completes it.
