Primoplan 58/1.9 ... infinity focus?

Hello.

I've recently purchased a Primoplan 58/1.9.
I never thought it was so "soft" ... But what really worries me is something I noticed today (shame on me).
It seems that it cannot reach the infinity focus position. It gets stuck at 8 feet (2.4 meters). I suspect that it has been serviced but it was not assembled properly

One more thing. I can read "Germany" ... no "Made in Germany".
