I dont see it listed as an option, but being the RZ has a Graflok type of setup, is it possible to use the Mamiya Press 6x9 backs on this camera? Im looking at the Mamiya Press 6x9 Standard 23 backs as an example. Something like with a M adapter.

1st generation RB could use a Graphic RH10 back. I remember that seeming important to my 10th grade mind at the time. I've got a RZ Pro II, it's nothing like the older Graphic backs

I have a adapter for my RZ that allows for use of RB backs (it allows you to set film speed) it only works with the 6x7 RB backs not the 6x8 etc. Still need to remember to wind the film, I've never used it.

I think there is a problem beyond the RZ67 issue. You cannot put a Mamiya Press M-type roll film holder - the kind that is really long and S-shaped - onto a Graflok back.

You can put a Graflok-compatible film holder, such as an RB67 roll film holder or a Graflex roll film holder, onto:
1) an RB67;
2) a Mamiya Universal with the G-frame;
3) a Mamiya Press 23 that has a permanently mounted Graflok back, instead of the usual Mamiya-type M-back.

I don't think Mamiya made backs to fit the Graflok back of the Press, only of the RB67. IOW there is no Mamiya 6x9 roll film holder in G-type, only in M-type.

Ok. This pretty much confirms that doing 6x9 on the RZ isn't a possibility. Its ok as I have some Fuji 6x9 cameras I can use, though their lenses are fixed only.
