I like shooting film on travels for all five reasons listed in the linked article, never had trouble with X-rays. In the good old days (reveals my age) I shot Kodachrome and sent the exposed film back to a lab close to home. When I returned, the slides would be sitting in my mailbox. Yessir, them were the days.

LOL Scan, Bob. 90% color transparencies. I hate scanning so some storage locker hunter in SoCal will have to do that if my family doesn't gift it to the local landfill.
