For Sale Pre-AI Micro-Nikkor 55mm F3.5

Another piece of equipment that's needs a good home.

A 55mm f3.5 Micro-Nikkor pre-AI in well used condition. Extremely sharp lens that goes down to 1:1. The glass is clean, aperture clean but the focus is a little rough (could stand to be relubed). Still works fine. Comes with generic front cap.

That's a fine lens.
The early Micro-Nikkors compensate for exposure as you focus closer by opening the diaphragm gradually.
This was prior to the invention of TTL metering.
What engineering!
This lens focuses to 1/2 life-size and 1:1 only with the addition of the Nikon "M" Tube.

Thanks for the additional info on the lens. I was pretty sure it only went to 1:2 but the markings on the barrel confused me.
