Hello
@chuck3565 ! Following up on this topic, I did go to the repair shop, but after further analyses to the camera, they detected that the shutter speed was also all wrong. (That was something that I could already tell just by the sound of it, regardless of the speed that was selected, the speed of the shutter seemed to always "sound" the same.) Their opinion was that the camera was not worth the cost it would take to repair it, and unfortunately I had to agree. I have recently come into owning a Nikon FE2 also in need of repairs, and, not being able to afford both, I much rather pay for the repairs on the Nikon.
So, by the looks of it, trying to fix the Praktica myself is probably something way beyond my abilities. Would that be your opinion as well?
Thank you
Mónica
