Thanks for the tips everyone. We had a great week in Prague and also took bus tours to Kutna Hora and Terezin. Enjoyed some great food and music and weather was lovely. The week before it had rained non-stop while were in the UK enjoying some mostly fine weather there, so luck was on our side.

I promised my wife she would not be a photographic widow on this trip so I only took out the Mamiya 7 once or twice to shoot film. Here are some shots from early morning on the Charles Bridge. Managed one photo with no other person in the scene which was quite a feat even at 6am.

For those not mortally offended by digital photos there are quite a few shots of Prague in colour here:

A very beautiful city in Stare Mesto and Mala Strana in particular (notwithstanding the scourge of graffiti tagging which seems to be an international epidemic). Friendly people, plenty of English spoken especially in the tourist areas and lots of beer to drink any time day or night. The Museum of Communism (above McDonalds in Wenceslas Square!) and the Mucha Museum provided interesting information on Czech history and culture.

And... Red Skoda's rock!!
