I have a 1st edition copy of Dick Arentz' Platinum and Palladium Printing and was thinking of searching out a copy of the 2nd edition so I was just looking at used book prices. Wow! Copies of the 1st edition are in the $40-$50 (US) range, while sellers of the 2nd edition are asking over $150 on Abebooks.
What are the practical differences between the two editions? That's a lot of money to lay out, but I realize it doesn't take a lot of ruined prints at today's platinum and palladium prices (and I'm sure there'll be plenty anyway as I start to learn the process) to add up to $150...
