I bought this paraphenylenediamene last week. The picture below shows its color. Can any of you who have experience with this chemical please tell me if it is good, or is it too oxidized? I made a batch of MCM100 developer, the film took twice as long as published times to develop, and I am trying to eliminate variables.

Oxidized, but as for me, it's quite fresh, probably should work ok, if you increase the weight twice to compensate. Even oxidized to black works sometimes, but stains the film.

Please note, that the purity is more important factor. Some books says that cosmetic purity is unsuitable for photographic purposes.
