Postcard Exchange Round 66 SIGN UP

The rules permit prints made commercially at a photo lab, so I don't see any problem.
I think the rules still require that the image start its journey on film - @George Nova Scotia can correct me if I'm wrong.

You are incorrect. Any kind of photo and any kind of postcard is acceptable.

Before my morning coffee, I turned on the computer and thought "boy this year has sped by", then "september seems to move so slowly". So slow I thought I might have missed the the exchange somehow.....

I looked at the sign up... I signed early, (for me), the 5th, and remembered I got my cards out early for the last round as well. I think it not being on my "to do" list for so long made me missed the urgency!

Then I saw the question from vbenares, re. Touchnote, and thought "wow. I've been looking for that exact thing" - not for the exchange but for my travels, but who knows!

The jinns are at work.

Hello,

I'd like to do this but since I'm new to phototrio, I can't pm you George (or anyone.). If you would be so kind as to pm me, I believe I can respond with the address information.

Does anyone use a postcard printing service, e.g. touchnote, to participate?

I don't know the answer to this, but since it looks like this is your first time, I'll mention that a lot of people put the address and photo notes information on a sticker on the back of their postcard. So if you have a way to get the photos printed with a normal lab, and then print out some stickers, that might be cheaper than a postcard printing service. Some people also stick a photo in an envelope. Again, I don't know the prices or anything, just throwing that out there.

Also, I've only participated in this once, so this is based on admittedly limited info!

Welcome!

I just posted this on the status thread, but I should post it here, too:

There is currently a postal workers strike in Canada and Canada Post has apparently advised all other countries' postal services to not accept mail to Canada at this time. So, don't send your cards to Canadian addresses until that situation is resolved. And, of course, people in Canada (like me) cannot send cards at this time.
