I also received "Snowy Arch" from BTC. Nicely exposed and printed. The highlights are not "blown out", and the mid-tones/shadows are rich with detail.

Today I received from bedrof a nice print entitled "Early Spring in Catalunya", It is a lith print, done in Moersch EasyLith. And the scene is very nice, some houses, an old bridge, and some bare trees.

Amongst my cards for PCX 65 was "Evening Light over the Valley" from bedrof... a late afternoon pastoral scene, long shadows, detailed view, enjoyable... the matte surface fits! Thank you Ilya.

I've finally managed to get my life sorted out (a much less than fun year) and get back to the good parts of life. With undue delay, the prints have been packed and will be shipped before the new year.

I'm sorry it took so damn long to do it.

I rec'd "Caught" from Mtoma.... a wonderful, intriguing image.. a well-timed capture during a live performance... the play could have flopped, and this image would have made it all worthwhile for me!!!! Thank you Mihai!

On another note... I was again looking over the images and comments for this round and saw Martie and Darwin's exchange. I always enjoyed the post office artifacts - it seemed to "authenticate" the card. I did switch to using envelopes and have been ambivalent about doing so. Since I receive many in envelopes I taken to keeping them together with a images - all part of the story I guess!

Thank you for your comment, Darwin. The feedback about the scuffing by the post office is helpful to know. Perhaps that "luster" print on Baryta paper just can't take the machine sorting. In future, I'll know to put photos like that inside of envelopes to mail.

I just received "Caught" by Mtoma. Very intriguing image with a sense of mystery. I initially thought the woman was prone, but the lighting looked "wrong". This image was perfectly timed - it has a story to tell.
