Oh, I felt amazed by some many great cards received with the mail from Tashkent a couple of months ago, but finally I'm here to write few words about them.
@drpsilver -
Burst of grass - Looks very much like what you can see just a bit south from my place. Rolling hills, tall grass. Lovely contrast of the stalks against the sky. And thank you for the letter enclosed, much appreciated. I noticed
@Simon I -
Barcelona graffiti - Very delicate lith effect, nicely done! Reminds me strongly some pictures from Tim Rudman's book on lith printing.
@MattiS -
Ballum sluse, Syddanmark - The flat land beyond that enormous anchor in the foreground with windmills in the distance makes it 100% Dutch to my eye, but being in Denmark it sort of puzzles me. Nice contrast and overall feeling of the place.
@Dunga -
Cold dream - Soft winter treescape (?) square print, one of those you can turn this way and that and the composition doesn't fall apart.
Ah, the envelope demonstrates an interesting set of stamps.
I also got a set of cards from
@hkbenji, covering like eight or nine rounds, hope to get back to them soon.
