Here is the schedule for this round:

January: sign-on
February & March: print and mail
April: breather

OK, now the standard text, but please read on:

As in the previous rounds, please signup by sending a PM to me containing your name, address (including the country - this is an international exchange) and the number of cards you are able to send or say maximum for the maximum possible number of cards.

As in the previous rounds, if you have been in the exchange for the last couple rounds and if your address is the same, you can sign on just with giving the number of cards here in the thread. No PM needed in this case.

Important! As in the previous rounds I will post lists of participants in this thread every once in a while. If you signed in (or if you think so) please come back to this thread and check if your name is on the list. If the name should be on the list but is not, then let me know. Once the address lists are sent out early in February I can not do any changes. And also check for the number of cards behind your name.

There are a couple threads with an introduction and FAQs (check the links in my sig). Just send me a PM or ask here if you have any questions.

Please read on:

As in the previous rounds, not all participants have been able to send out the cards. For whatever reasons, if you have not fulfilled your last rounds commitment, send your cards before you sign in for this round. Just be fair. (and drop a note in the last round comments to let us know you are okay)

And as in the previous rounds, I am looking forward to this round.

Now for those new to the postcard exchange, here is how it all works out.

First: It is fun!

Second: When registration is over, I will prepare address lists which I will PM to the participants. You will have to send a card to every address on that list and you should receive back a card from everyone on that list. So if you join in for e.g. 20 cards you will have to send 20 cards and you should receive 20 cards back.

Third: Did I mention that it is fun? Where else can you receive cards from all over the world, different styles, different methods, different papers!

I had a blast last time and there for a while it was a race to the mail box every day. I've already picked a negative for this one.

This will be my first exchange! I'm down for 15. I'd love to do the Max, but between work and having a 6 month old, that extra time you wish you had seems to just disappear.

6 months, very nice. Wait until they turn 6years old and start school. Then your time is almost all gone .

Welcome to the exchange?

Matt's in again for round 28

Welcome to the exchange.

With a 6 month old, you are going to appreciate the break whenever a new card arrives .

Put me down for another 24 George - same address as before.

My first exchange. Excited but anxious about it. I've narrowed down which image to 6 so far.

And that may increase before the print dates arrive....

Well, there's nothing that says you only need to send one image -- some people print two or more images per round.

Also, I remember in my first exchange feeling more and more pressure to produce something good as the cards kept coming in. Personally for me I find it better to print my images before the round begins to help alleviate the anxiety! (doesn't always happen though)

George:

I am in for the max. I have been looking forward to this round because unlike last round I have many images to choose from. I really like that we have so many new participants. Welcome to all. This exchange is really fun!

Regards,
Darwin

P.S. All contact info the same as last round.

Sure. Makes sense. I just don't want to go jumping around from one image to another, and not print the best I can, so I figure, I'll go with one, and make sure I get it right time and time again

Can't wait.
