Hi George,

Just sent a PM signing up (total virgin here!). I neglected to say how many I was sending out - 20 please.
Now I'd best go off and re-read the guidelines again as I've been sitting on the sidelines of these exchanges and reading all of the comments for the past couple of years but have never had the nerve to join in until now.

Some of the best fun for those of us who have been in the Postcard Exchange for a while is seeing what the so called "beginners" are able to do.

You will probably surprise yourself!

I guess I have a bit of a reputation

I have this rule, you see. I don't sign up for the next round, until I am completely up-to-date on the previous round.

And by up-to-date I mean printing and mailing my cards, commenting on the cards I've received, and putting those received cards into the albums I use, complete with copies of what is visible on the reverse.

For Round 25, I'm up-to-date in all but the final step. And I intend to get it done too!

I know what you mean Ash, in my case getting 28 or 29 OS postcards at AU$1.60 each for postage hits the beer money real hard. I had a thought about this. Maybe we antipdeans could send to one address in the US and then the person receiving could post all the cards for us and the post cost be reimbursed through some other means...

It makes sense to print a couple of cards and stick them into an envelope like a couple of fellow Commonwealth friends in North America do, their postage is a bit higher than ours presently given the exchange rate of about 1 for 1 today, but this gives better value for money on a card for card basis.
