Really sorry for the delay, got caught up with wedding related stuff for most of the second half of last year and the first few of this year. I found the prints again 2 weeks ago when I was cleaning my study.

Ha ha, one late card in round 20 results in a lot more traffic in this old thread than we have in the current rounds feedback thread. So we should qualify one or two participants for each round to send the late card.

Well, with all the drizzly weather in Oregon, I just claim that it takes a long time to dry the prints. Here's my suggestion for the schedule:

Jan 2012 - Sign-in
Feb 2012 - print and squeegee
Mar 2012 - drying
...
Nov 2012 - still drying
Dec 2012 - wipe off the mold and send.

Good prints are like cheese - they just get better (or stinkier) with age.

Thanks for the postcard, Trotkiller. Unfortunately, a move and a new job mean that I no longer have time/place for printing; hopefully I'll get back to the darkroom soon, but in the mean time it was nice receiving a little reminder of how much fun these exchanges are!

I got Trotkiller's card as well and only now discovered it is from this round. Whahey. Love getting the late ones.

Well I had some gems handed to me this week, after starting to move into a new apartment - from Round 20 no less!

  • Allen Friday's "Colarado River"
  • Lori's "Lake near Bozeman MT"
  • Katherine's "Outdoor Sculpture'
  • Stephen's "Masonic Window"
Great to see some lovely prints and the Ilfochrome is just as stunning as I remember them to always be - such a great shame it is so rare these days.

Thanks to all - wonderful surprise to see these after such a long time.
