Well, I managed to print all my cards over the weekend - kinda weird for me doing 'production line' print; all my prints to date have been strictly limited editions of one .

Posted the first 4 today; the rest will trickle out over the week - I figure not posting them all at once means less chance of Royal Mail losing the whole lot.

Jake - I'm now thoroughly confused about where I should send your card; the address on my list is France, but I saw you mention a Scotland address too! If it's the Scotland address I should be sending to, can you PM it to me?

Ruediger - I have exactly one spare card! I can send this to Thomas if you're still looking for some more?

Tim-it's the Scotland address on the latest list.

I must not have received the "latest" list, because I only have the address in Normandy:confused: .

I've PM'd Jake directly, but...

Hi Peter,
that is the address of the Jonathan King not being part of this exchange, I sent the address of the right Jonathan King by email or PM earlier this month.

Even worse, I have not sent a list with the address in Scotland as I only got the Normandy address from Randy.

Jake, if you PM your Scotland address to me I will distribute it to the participants via email.

The next four cards arrived. Thanks to Mike for a beautiful Lith print, Jonathan for the old barn in Woodmont Orchards, Doug Smith for a nice high key sundial and Ingo for the opposite side of my card.

My cards are in the mail and should arrive soon in your mailbox.

Mick Fagan's card arrived on Friday. Interesting portrait of what looks like a very interesting person. What do you mean by "pocket rocket"? Not an expression I'm familiar with, Mick!
Thanks for the card.

Ruediger,
I've got Jake's Scotland address. As far as I know Jake is going to school in Scotland hence the Scotland address but his parents live in Normandy. A couple of rounds ago Jake was staying for awhile maybe the summer at his parents place in Normandy and that's why you still have his parents Normandy address.

Sorry Jake my cards went out last night. You might want to ask your parents to forward my card to you.
Two more cards arrived today.
Alexwei ( I think?)With an interesting salute to 5 Harwards ( to us Canucks) or Texans to our American friends.
Mick F pocket rocket? I used to ride one it was a Suzuki 550. But I do not think it is what you meant. All joking aside very nice portrait of a beautiful girl.
Well done Mick.

Keep the cards coming. It is shaping to be a very nice round again.

Cheers Greg

Just sent out my set, hope you all like them. I've gotten some great ones so far. Lots of fun to get real mail almost everyday. Funny that the first two were both shot with a C330, Mike's cool old mill and Jake's rugged landscape. I thought I'd got onto the wrong list! Then Art's instant view of Toronto came and random variety was restored. I just got hal9000's ice cream cone. I love it. Thanks to everyone for their efforts.
Not sure if I should send a second one out to Jake, sounds like his folks could send his mail on to Scotland?
On a side note, I was slightly shocked to notice that I paid 11 dollars more for a box of Ilford postcard paper than I had last year. I know Ilford had to raise their prices, but I don't think it was by that much, that would be over 60 percent. Anyone else notice something similar? I have no complaint with Ilford, BTW, I think they are great and I hope they go on for years.

Thanks Rst for Jake's Scotland address! I had lost it so was glad for the email!
Received Doug Smith's card from Long Island. I really like your Diana image of a very typical New York apartment with fire escapes. Well done!
Also received Mikeg's postcard of a Church pew in Shropshire. Beautiful light and a well done Lith print! Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words, Kate. I love shooting with the Diana, although mine has to be securely taped, as the back has a tendency to fall off otherwise. I got MikeG's card today, too- really, really well done. Also got a lovely scenic shot from PepMiro in Andorra. I must say that the postcard exchange has made me look forward to seeing what's in the mail every day. Thanks to all!

Just for the minutes - as I didn't mention it on my postcard:
Minolta Dynax/Maxxum 9, Minolta AF 4/70-210mm, Agfa APX 100 (developed in Rodinal 1+25), printed on Ilford postcard paper (with Tetenal Eukobrom).

Hope everybody's getting my cards! I've got some great ones so far- Art's Toronto skyline (great sky!), the airshow from Alex (there are actually some splotches on the card from postal damage, coming from the 3rd plane to the guy's cup- looks like "bombs" dropping into it!), Hal's ice cream cone (too fun!). Frye's Mill is a gorgeous shot by Jon King, and I love the 3 6X6 contact series of the mountain vista from Dietmar- great idea, and nicely put together. Looking forward to more!...

Mikeg A lith print of a church pew, beautiful light isolating bench and the Bible, well done Mike. I like the color of the print.

A great catch this week of 8 more postacrds:
  • Looks like Ingo and Ruediger went to the same memorial in Mannhein. Two powerful images.
  • Do I see the biggest Labatt Blue and Molson Canadian bottles in Erik's postcard? Nice.
  • I really love mikeg's image of the inside of St Edith's church.
  • I've been to the same spot that Tim went - Asbury Park, NJ. I miss that place and maybe I should make another road trip there.
  • Peter's postcard of the Flashdance strip bar in Florida is too funny. Thanks Dude. When I get down there, you and are going to hang again.
  • Dianna sent a square postcard. Different format adds to the variety.
  • And the image of Andorra has a wonderful painting like quality.

Regards, Art.
