Had our first measurable rainfall since the catastrophic flash floods in July. Chamonix 45F-1, Ilford FP4+

Really nice autumn-morning sunlight yesterday in Portland, with a mess of leaves on the ground and some still on the trees. This is from a short walk in the River View Natural Area; Rolleiflex 2.8C, 80/2.8 Planar with a yellow filter, I think f/4 and 1/25. Tri-X in PC-TEA, printed at grade 2 on MGRC pearl and developed in Ethol LPD.

Pinch In Trail down to Linville River in North Carolina. The old man can still hike up a mountain. The downed trees are damage from Hurricane Helene flooding the year before.

Winter view of a side trickle from Warren Creek, in Starvation Creek State Park near Cascade Locks, OR, USA, during a chilly and windy visit the other day. Rolleiflex 2.8C, 80/2.8 Planar, Tri-X at 800; printed at grade 2 1/2 on MGRC, developed in Ethol LPD 1+3. The scan looks a little warmer than the physical print.

Fujino Trail

Strange wires leading up a mountain river near Fujino, Kanagawa, Japan.

Scene from a Kanagawa hiking trail. I didn't quite track where these began, but they followed the river up the mountain until we couldn't see any longer.
