Not to mention paying less for the film and being more likely to process it yourself, hence saving even more.
You might want to use Tri-X instead and then you would not have to deal with anything other than white, gray and black.

I always like your work.
Dude sitting next to his motorcycle, and the guy with the umbrella are my favorites from this batch.
Good one Randy!
Gee, thanks guys! I never would have thought of that myself.
I traveled to San Francisco for work last week. I had an almost fresh roll ofportraFuji C200 in the camera when I got on the airplane and only took the one camera, so there ya go. I saw all the men staring at the girl (They were actually waiting to pet the dog, but that's not how the photo looked) so I took the shot.
I shot a couple rolls of Tmax, and some HP5 while I was at it.
As a side note, I ran them through the airport scanner at SFO on the way home to see what happened to the film. On the Portra and C200 the effect seems so slight you can't tell. Interested to see if the HP5 comes out with any noticeable fogging. All I did was walkin' around snapshots, nothing that I felt would be really bitchen, so I decided to gamble and see.
San Francisco is a colorful city. There's lots of places where color film is nice. I'm just not really in a colorful mood these days.
Here it is before the black and white filter:
* edit to add that I was mistaken, this was the roll of C200 I had in, not the Portra.
The back story aids in understanding the photograph. Frankly I prefer the color with the added detail which adds to the atmosphere. Thank you.

Great shot, super cute girl. Good to see you back
I was obsessed with this facade
I can see why - so many lines and geometrical shapes. Plus a person and a Fiat 128 (?).
