@Helge The idea was to capture the moment when a person gets out of a subway in NYC. The city changes dramatically from station to station, and it's common to see amused/amazed/surprised faces. But standing too far (photos above) did not get me that, and standing too close (photos I did not post) caused everyone to stare directly at me.

Hard to visualize now how Big/Vast it was.
Several thousand people...in its heyday... would occupy the pools, slides, swings and chairs at one time.
I had never heard of this before. Bit of research brought me to a Thomas Edison film (1897) featuring them.
I find these quite enjoyable.
