IMO, B&W just fits the subject matter, compositions, and light better than color in most cases. Of course, I shoot B&W a lot anyway...

easier to process at home than C-41...? that and, predominantly, b&w has a certain "magical mystique" about it... remember as well that, by-and-large, we dream in b&w...
