"Street photography" has always been a commonly-accepted phrase to denote images of everyday life...which have always been the most fascinating and substantive images since the time some 35 years ago that I picked up a camera.
 


I wonder how many noteworthy, quirky or storytelling moments I saw in day to day life before I learned to watch for such images...that fell by the wayside forgotten permanently? Now at least I can have half a chance at recognizing when they're here and remembering them.

Nice observation-I know how difficult crowd scenes can be!
Nice to see young people with film cameras, heard the familiar sound of an auto rewind next to me in a quiet moment and another young girl sporting a similar vintage tapestry neck strap as I had on my f2, gave each other the nod of approval.
A longer lens is good for isolating people in a crowd.
