This is a cool portrait. I love that she's looking along all the diagonal lines. Like they're pointing me to whatever has her attention out of frame.

So, good composition. I'm going to keep that in mind in the future.

Couple of BRENTWOOD Street 'Characters' who let me 'test Cameras, Lenses and old Film on them and I give them prints !
KB40 film processed in ID11 1+3 dilution. Nikon FE2 + 105mm f2.5 Nikkor at f5.6 on A' auto exposure.

Great portraits, Peter - love especialy the first. The old 105mm f/2.5 is one of my favorite lenses on my F2.

I'm enjoying your portraits.

I really like this composition. Good framing, has a diagonal line... I don't know. But something about it draws me in. Probably my second favorite to Emily with the cupcake.

Glad you are enjoying them. Emily (my Daughter) is a star, and this guy is her Grandad. They are part of my ongoing project to photograph all my family and close friends in a kindly and sympathetic way. Kind regards, John.
