Thanks Bags, the light and shadows coming through the moving clouds really changes fast and you're not sure exactly what you are going to get.

The Palouse is - or at least was - a favourite destination for photographers around here. Your results are excellent @Jim Peterson .

Thanks Matt, Yes, it would be cool to see other members Palouse photos for some inspiration. It is about 3 hours from the house and have now been there four times. I've been doing a fair amount of scouting and getting a feel for the Palouse.

From spring, 2011 on my honeymoon, 2 images a few moments apart on the South Rim of GCNP. I had just shot a wedding a few weeks prior and a bad card fried my 5d and my 20d backup (remember the old microdrive cf cards?) I borrowed my old Rebel XT from my Dad and brought his old ae-1 and dove back into film. Unfortunately the ae1 had a light leak issues (seals). I salvaged some. Here are 2 from the XT at dusk.

Palouse, Mamiya RZ67II, 180mm WN, Tmax 100, cropped. Lab developed. It was overexposed, so messed with a little bit in lightroom.
