I definitely understand one of the charms of medium format is moving fluidly through the landscape yourself—that said, you might take a look at products like the Cotton Carrier “Steady Shot” system…quite a few video reviews out there if you’re interested. The system is marketed toward bird photographers shooting DSLRs with big teles, but I don’t see a reason why your MF camesas wouldn’t work.

Otherwise thanks for sharing all those great images from the the Pays-Bas—I have an interest in the War of Spanish Succession and it’s wonderful to “feel” the landscape through your work.

The first time i've found emulsion faults on Kodak Tri-X 120.
(small scratches make it impossible to get a clean print on regular paper)
Print on Ilford Art 300 almost looks like a drawing on watercolour paper. (cropped to avoid the scratches in the sky on the rest of the negative)

It's in the Bugaboo Group, Purcell Mtns.... no lifts. I was on skiis w climbing skins for going up....if the snow is settled enough as it is in this photo you're carrying your skiis..... punching in maybe boot top deep.

I like the subtle use of gray and the light gray accents in the foreground and in the distant hill. While I'm at it, I also really like the trees in the swamp image and pretty much enjoying your work in general.

Thank you Stephen, that means a lot I have always admired your fantastic work you have shared. I have an extensive archive of stuff, much has rarely or never been shared. I will try and contribute here. Most of this is very recent stuff, I try to get out once or twice a week in the woods with a camera. I will work backwards and try to share more local stuff though I do have images from all over the US. Prefer black and white, shoot some color in the warmer months and that other format (d***tal) on occasion for a planned shoot.
