Lake Musters, Patagonia.

@fatso , you keep raising the bar. This is spectacular. I'm so glad you spent time with your head in the clouds.

@DMJ This composition is awesome. Beautiful exposure, too.

I agree.
Now if only I could get past your new avatar.....

@fatso, you have not aged a bit.

This is a view of the Mont-Blanc on the way down from Mt.Buet near Chamonix. It's usually an enjoyable hike but with a 617 camera accessories, bivy etc. the 7000ft of vertical was a bit hellish. Portra 400.

Teaching yourself infrared film in autumn/winter? Well, I got the filter when I got it, and am loving it. This one was taken with Heliopan RG715 + Hoya CPL about a month ago.

Good job.

I'm messing with it, but in southern California we get fresh growth when it rains, whenever that is, so there are lots of opportunities in winter. This inspires me to try a new location -- I wonder if the reeds in the lagoon will glow.

Thanks! There's only one thing to do: to try and see what comes out. Evergreens are fun too.

I never thought of IR film with fall colors. Well done.
Thanks! I've tried deeep winter, abandoned interiors and some close-ups. I found interiors to be fun, especially if there's some kind of a growth going on inside.
