f/5.6. Too small an aperture like f/11 and the light level is so very low the film will get some stars, but won't record any nebulae at all no matter how long the exposure. Large format is tricky for finding lenses that work well wide open. I bought several lenses to find a few that did very well at 5.6. The photos are pinpoint sharp center to the very edges, no cropping, no distortion, no abberations.Wow, impressive.
That would a great setup for comet's, too!?
What f stop do you prefer (f/11?)
